Frequently Asked Questions
How do I join the ladder?
Email us at
matches@networthtennis.com with your name, skill level (NTRP rating), and preferred contact information. We'll add you to the ladder and send you all the details to get started.
How is my ranking determined?
Rankings are based on your match results. When you win a challenge match against a higher-ranked player, you move up to their position. New players start at the bottom of the ladder and work their way up.
How do I challenge someone?
Email
matches@networthtennis.com with the name of the player you'd like to challenge (must be within 3 positions above you). We'll connect you both via email to arrange the match details.
Where are matches played?
Matches are played at public tennis courts in East Los Angeles. Popular locations include Vermont Canyon, Griffith Park (Riverside and Merry-Go-Round courts), Echo Park, Hermon Park, and Eagle Rock. See the court locations on the main ladder page with direct map links.
What if I need to cancel a match?
Provide your opponent with at least 24 hours notice. Players are allowed 1 last-minute cancellation per month. No-shows result in an automatic forfeit. Coordinate directly with your opponent and notify us at
matches@networthtennis.com if needed.
How do I report match results?
The winner should email the final score to
matches@networthtennis.com within 48 hours of match completion. Include both players' names and the set scores (e.g., "6-4, 6-3").
What if I'll be away for a while?
Let us know if you'll be unavailable for an extended period. You'll be moved to an "inactive" status to prevent challenge requests. You can rejoin at your previous position when you return.
Is there a membership fee?
NET WORTH Tennis Ladder is currently free to join and participate. Players are only responsible for bringing tennis balls to their matches.

I can't find any available courts
Try checking the court availability early in the morning or on weekdays. You can also try less busy courts like Hermon Park or Eagle Rock. Many players successfully schedule matches for weekend mornings.
